Ask the agent
Ask Migaru about your accounts, deals and calls in the app, in Slack or on your phone, get answers that cite their sources, and connect Claude or ChatGPT.
Where to ask
Open Agent and ask about an account, a deal or your week, or use Ask about this on any record. It’s in a Slack direct message too (see Connect Slack), and under Ask in the phone app, on every plan.
What it answers from
Your records; your email threads, by their subjects, previews and summaries, since message bodies aren’t kept; your calls, files, Knowledge, Pages and Skills; and the apps you’ve connected. It counts across all your records rather than estimating, and lists up to 50 at a time. For harder questions, it can run code over up to 2,000 records of each kind.
Each answer cites where it came from — a record, a meeting, a thread, or the moment in a call — and a citation to something it didn’t actually read is dropped.
On Pro and above, it can search the web too, linking every page it used, and Research on an account or contact writes a sourced note and suggests values for the fields it has empty.
What it can change
Values, records and links it proposes go to Review for somebody to approve. Lists it builds are made straight away. Asked to draft an email, it puts the draft straight into your own mailbox’s drafts, for you to read and send, and only to people who are among your contacts. An action in an app you’ve connected asks you first, with Approve and Decline.
An owner or admin turns each of those on or off under Settings → Agent: proposing changes, building lists, running code, searching the web and drafting email. Under Settings → Knowledge and Settings → Skills, anyone in the workspace can give it what it should know about your business, and how your team does things.
Use it from Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants
In Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant that takes MCP connectors, add https://app.migaru.ai/api/mcp as a custom connector and sign in; Settings → API keys → Connect an AI tool walks through it. An owner or admin allows the connection, and chooses whether it may create, change and archive records as well as read them. What it changes goes straight onto records, and their history says the API changed it. It can also connect with an API key: see Export your data.
