Follow-ups, sequences and Outreach
How follow-ups are drafted for you to send, how a sequence writes each step when it’s due, and how Outreach sends the cold campaigns you launch.
Migaru never sends a follow-up or a sequence step itself, and never sends anything on LinkedIn. Only an Outreach campaign you write and launch sends by itself.
Follow-up drafts
Turn on Draft follow-ups on your mailbox’s card under Settings → Mail and calendar. When one of your tasks with a contact comes due, a follow-up is written in your voice and waits in Review, where only you see it; one more than 14 days overdue is left alone. Approving it puts it in your own mailbox’s drafts: open it there, change what you like, and send it.
Sequences, on Pro and above
Under Sequences, build up to twelve steps with a wait before each; each wait starts when the step before it is written, approved or not. Steps are emails, and on Growth LinkedIn connection requests and messages, calls and tasks can go between them.
Each step is written from the contact’s record when it comes due, and waits in Review. An approved email goes to the drafts of whoever approved it, and any other step becomes a task due that day. Dismissing a step doesn’t stop the sequence.
A sequence ends for somebody when they write back, their address bounces, they ask not to be contacted, they leave their company, it reaches its last step, or somebody stops it. There’s no open or click tracking.
Outreach, on Growth and above
Outreach sends the cold campaigns you write and launch, from mailboxes connected for it rather than your own. An owner or admin connects them under Outreach → Mailboxes, with Google or Microsoft sign-in, or SMTP and IMAP.
Unless you change it, each mailbox sends at most 30 a day, ten minutes apart, starting at 10 on its first day and adding 3 a day, while warm-up builds its reputation with up to 20 emails a day of its own. A campaign sends Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, up to 50 a day, with an unsubscribe link, and counts opens and clicks only if you turn that on.
A reply, a bounce or an unsubscribe stops the campaign for that person, and, unless you change it, an answer from one person stops it for their whole company. An unsubscribe also marks them Do not contact and adds them to the Blocklist. Answers arrive in Inbox, where they’re labelled Interested, Meeting booked or Not interested.
