Move from Notion in one go

Migaru Pages has a migration assistant built for Notion. It copies your pages across one for one: the same tree, the same nesting, the same databases, with links between pages pointing at the new copies.

Connect Notion

Sign in to Notion from Settings → Migrations, choose the pages to bring, and the assistant reads them straight from Notion. Colours, callouts, column types, row order and people come across too, people matched to your members by email.

Or upload an export

Export your workspace from Notion as Markdown & CSV and drop the zip into Pages. Its pages, databases, images and files land together in one new folder.

What comes across

  • Every page and sub-page, nested as it was
  • Databases, with their rows, columns and each row's page
  • Images and files, stored with the page they were on
  • Links between pages, pointed at the new copies

What stays in Notion

The move copies what your pages say and how they are arranged. It leaves behind comments, page history, who a page was shared with, database views other than a table, formulas and rollups, which arrive as their results, relations, which arrive as the related pages' names and cover images and image icons.

A move is a copy, not a sync: Notion is left exactly as it was. And a move can be taken back, which puts what it made in the trash.

Everything your team writes down

The pages, databases and sharing a team moving from Notion reaches for first, on every plan.

Pages, folders and databases
Nest pages as deep as you like, file them in folders, and keep the tables beside them as databases: table and board views, filters and sorts, and columns for text, numbers, dates, selects, people, links and more.
An editor that types like Notion
The slash menu, Markdown shortcuts, headings, to-dos, toggles, callouts, quotes, code blocks, tables, images and files, with undo for every step.
Share exactly what you mean to
View, edit or full access on any page, inherited by everything inside it. Invite members, guests by email, or on Business a whole group. Private pages stay yours.
Publish to the web
A public link for a page, with or without the pages under it, kept out of search engines unless you say otherwise, and set to expire if you like.
History you can undo
Earlier versions of each page, restored in a click, and restoring keeps what it replaced, so a wrong restore is one more click to undo.
Find anything
Search every page you can open, titles and text both, from ⌘K. Export any page as Markdown whenever you want it somewhere else.

Common questions

How much does Migaru Pages cost?

Migaru Pages is 30% less than Notion on every paid plan. Free is $0 for one person, with no card. Plus is $8.40 per member per month billed monthly, or $7 billed yearly, against Notion's $12 and $10. Business is $16.80 per member per month billed monthly, or $14 billed yearly, against Notion's $24 and $20. Enterprise is priced for your organization. Plus and Business start with a 14-day free trial.

How do I move from Notion?

Start a workspace, then either connect Notion from Settings → Migrations and choose what comes, or export your Notion workspace as Markdown & CSV and import the zip into Pages. Either way your pages arrive as they were in Notion: the same tree, databases with their rows and columns, images and files, and links between pages pointed at the new copies.

What doesn't come across from Notion?

The move copies what your pages say and how they are arranged. It leaves behind comments, page history, who a page was shared with, database views other than a table, formulas and rollups, which arrive as their results, relations, which arrive as the related pages' names and cover images and image icons. Notion is untouched, and nothing keeps syncing afterwards.

Can two people edit the same page?

Yes. Each save is merged into the page block by block, so two people working on different parts of a page both keep their changes, and an open page picks up the other's saves within a minute. It is not live co-editing: there are no cursors, and two people rewriting the same paragraph at once leaves the later version.

Who is a member, and who is a guest?

Members belong to the workspace, take a seat and are billed on Plus and Business. Guests are people outside it you share a page with by email; they never take a seat, need no account, and each plan says how many can hold a page at once.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free is for one person, with no card, and keeps everything you write. Plus and Business add members, more guests and longer history, and each starts with a 14-day free trial: your card is charged when it ends unless you cancel before then.

Is Migaru Pages part of the Migaru CRM?

It is the same Pages that comes with Migaru Pro and above, sold on its own. A Pages workspace has Pages and nothing else; if you want the CRM as well, talk to us and we'll move the workspace across with everything in it.

Updated

Need a CRM as well?

Pages is part of Migaru, the CRM that keeps itself. Pro and above include every Pages feature with no guest or history limits, beside a CRM written from your email, calendar and calls.
