Migaru vs Lightfield
Two CRMs that keep themselves.

Both build the record from your email, calendar and meetings. Lightfield records your calls with its own recorder, can send email and LinkedIn sequences for you, and charges for AI work in credits. Migaru works from the transcripts your recorder already makes, drafts every email for a person to send, and charges a fixed price with no credits.

Where Migaru and Lightfield differ

Recording your calls

Lightfield brings its own recorder: it joins your external meetings, transcribes them and updates the CRM from what was said. Migaru has no recorder and never joins a call. If you already use one, export the transcript and drop it in: Migaru files it on the meeting and turns what each side promised into tasks.

Who presses send

Lightfield's sequences send email and LinkedIn messages on a schedule and stop when someone replies. Migaru's code can't send email at all: every follow-up and sequence step waits in a review queue, and approving one puts a draft in your own mailbox for you to send.

What the bill depends on

Lightfield prices AI work in credits and doesn't charge for seats, so the bill follows how much the platform does for you. Migaru charges a fixed price, per user on Starter and one price for the whole workspace on Pro and Growth, with no credits, so the agent costs the same however much you ask of it.

LinkedIn

Lightfield can put LinkedIn messages in a sequence, and syncs LinkedIn in beta. Migaru builds the record from email, calendar, Slack and call transcripts, and captures nothing from LinkedIn.

Choose Lightfield if

  • You want the CRM itself to record and transcribe your calls.
  • You want sequences that send email and LinkedIn messages for you.
  • You'd rather pay for AI usage than for seats, with everyone able to log in.

Choose Migaru if

  • You want a fixed price that doesn't move with how much the AI does.
  • You want nothing to reach a customer until a person has read it and sent it.
  • You already have a recorder, or would rather not have a bot on your calls.

Switching from Lightfield

Lightfield exports accounts, contacts and deals as CSV, Excel or JSON. Export each as a CSV, import it into the matching object in Migaru and map its columns onto your fields, then connect your mailbox and calendar so the conversations fill in around them. Recordings don't come across, but a transcript you can save as a file can be dropped in and filed on its meeting.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Migaru and Lightfield?

Both are AI-native CRMs that keep their records from email, calendar and meetings. Lightfield records calls itself, can send sequences for you, and prices AI work in credits with unlimited seats. Migaru works from the transcripts you upload, only ever drafts email for a person to send, and charges a fixed price, per user on Starter and one price for the whole workspace on Pro and Growth.

Does Migaru record calls like Lightfield?

No. Migaru doesn't join calls and has no recorder. Upload the transcripts your recorder exports, as subtitles, text, Word or PDF files, and Migaru files each one on its meeting, makes it searchable, and turns what each side promised into tasks.

How does the pricing compare?

Lightfield charges for AI work in credits, with unlimited seats, so what you pay depends on how much it does. Migaru's price is fixed and includes the agent. Migaru has four plans. Starter is $35 per user per month, billed monthly, for 1 to 3 users. Pro is $399 per month for the workspace, billed annually, for up to 5 users. Growth is $799 per month for the workspace, billed annually, for up to 10 users. Enterprise is priced for your team and billed annually. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial.

Can Migaru send LinkedIn messages?

No. Migaru's sequences are email only, drafted a step at a time into your mailbox, and it captures nothing from LinkedIn. It builds the record from email, calendar, Slack and the call transcripts you upload.

Can I move from Lightfield to Migaru?

Yes. Export your accounts, contacts and deals from Lightfield as CSV files and import each into its object in Migaru, up to 50,000 rows a file. Then connect your mailbox and calendar: Migaru reads up to two years back, so the email and meeting history fills in again from the source rather than from the old CRM.
