# Migaru: The CRM that keeps itself.

> Migaru is an AI-native CRM that keeps itself: it files your email, meetings and calls on the right accounts and drafts follow-ups for you to approve.

Migaru reads your team’s email, calendar and calls, files each conversation where it belongs, and keeps the record current. You spend the time selling instead.

Migaru (身軽) is Japanese for light, nimble, unburdened.

## The stack it replaces

A CRM, a wiki, an outreach tool, a data provider and a dashboard each keep their own copy of your customers, behind their own login. Migaru does those jobs from one record.

- **CRM**, instead of HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Attio, Close, Copper, folk, monday CRM, Freshsales. Accounts, contacts and deals that keep themselves current from your email, calendar and calls. Every plan.
- **Sales outreach**, instead of Instantly, Outreach, Salesloft, lemlist, Smartlead, Reply.io, Mailshake, Woodpecker, Mixmax. Email cadences written a step at a time from each contact's record, into your own drafts. On Growth and above, cold email campaigns too, sent from mailboxes you connect for them, within their limits, with every answer in one inbox. Pro and above.
- **Docs and wiki**, instead of Notion, Confluence, Evernote, Slite, Guru. Pages, folders and databases for everything your team writes down, nested as deep as you like and readable by the agent. Pro and above.
- **Dashboards and reporting**, instead of Databox, Geckoboard. Charts asked for in a sentence and counted live from your records, and what became of every deal that was due to close. Pro and above.
- **Prospecting and data**, instead of Crunchbase. Companies that fit your ideal customer, proposed for you to review, headcount, revenue and funding brought in for every account, with whether it is hiring fast, and a contact’s work email, phone and title when you look them up. Growth and above.

Each of these does more than the part Migaru takes over, such as marketing email, a dialer, a database of people to search, or a wiki’s comments and live co-editing. For the CRMs, the comparisons say plainly where one is the better choice. [Compare CRMs side by side](https://www.migaru.ai/compare).

## Most CRMs are only as good as what someone remembered to type.

So the record falls behind. The call that changed the deal never gets logged, the promise made on it is forgotten, and the pipeline review turns into an hour of asking people what happened.

Migaru works the other way round. It reads the conversations your team is already having and writes the record from them. Where a change is a judgement, like a stage or a close date, it asks you first.

With the record kept, the rest can be done for you: follow-ups drafted, meetings prepped, quiet deals flagged, and more accounts found that look like your best. Nothing is sent without you.

## What it takes off your plate

Migaru does the work that usually falls to whoever has the least time for it.

### Follow-ups and prep, done before you ask

Before your external meetings Migaru writes the prep, and when a promise made on a call or in email comes due, it can draft the follow-up. Drafts wait in one review queue until you approve them.

### Pipeline from accounts like your best ones

Describe who you sell to, or point at accounts you’d like more of. Migaru scores every account, proposes companies that fit, and drafts each step of outreach to the people you add.

### Your best rep’s judgement, written down once

Turn how you qualify and review deals into a skill. Every rep who asks gets the same next step, with the evidence behind it.

### Answers about the pipeline, not reports to build

Ask how the pipeline changed since the month began or why deals slipped, and get numbers counted from your records. Keep the ones you check every week on a dashboard.

## How Migaru keeps the record

Three steps, and you only do the first one.

1. **Connect what you already use.** Gmail or Outlook, your calendar and Slack connect in a few minutes. Turn on the notetaker and it records your Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls, or drop in the transcripts your recorder exports.
2. **Migaru files and fills.** Each conversation lands on its account and contacts, and on the deal when the account has one open. A company that is plainly buying gets a deal opened, and you’re told why. Likely duplicates are flagged, summaries are written for you, and anything that is a judgement waits for your OK.
3. **The work gets done.** Agents prep meetings, score accounts, write sequence steps and, once you switch it on, draft follow-ups. Drafts wait in a review queue; approve one and it is in your drafts, ready to send.

Step one takes a few minutes. Connect a mailbox and its calendar, and Migaru reads back up to two years of history, so the record starts with the relationships you already have. [Start free trial](https://app.migaru.ai/sign-up).

Every record is yours to build on, through the API, an MCP server that Claude and ChatGPT sign in to, and CSV or Excel export. [See what gets captured, and from where](https://www.migaru.ai/product/crm-data-capture).

## One record for the whole company

Product, engineering, marketing and customer success can ask it too, and get answers drawn from what customers actually said.

### Product: features that cost us deals

- **See what customers ask for.** Ask what keeps coming up, and hear it from your customers’ calls and threads rather than from a survey.
- **Go back to the source.** Open the call at the moment a request was made, or the thread it came up in, not somebody’s note of it.
- **Know how big it is.** Count the accounts that asked, and the deals they have open, before it goes on the roadmap.

### Engineering: accounts waiting on a fix

- **Know who is waiting.** See which accounts need what you are building, and how long each has waited.
- **Read the actual report.** Open the call at the moment the customer described the problem in their own words, or the thread they raised it in.
- **Tell them when it ships.** Know exactly who to tell, down to the person who first raised it.

### Marketing: where won deals came from

- **Refine who you target.** Build lists that keep themselves, on Growth from the customers adding people or hiring fast, not from a static field nobody keeps up.
- **Write the way buyers talk.** Use the words customers actually use on calls and in email, not the ones you wish they used.
- **See what drives pipeline.** Ask which sources opened deals and which ones closed them.

### Customer success: renewals gone quiet

- **Spot renewals at risk.** Know which accounts have gone quiet long before the renewal date forces the conversation.
- **Notice when a champion leaves.** See when the person who bought from you moves on, from the bounce or automatic reply that says so, and who is left holding the relationship.
- **Find room to grow.** Find accounts asking for things you already sell, and turn them into expansion.

### Onboarding: promises made during the deal

- **Start with the whole story.** Read the full sales cycle before kickoff, including what the customer pushed back on.
- **Keep every promise.** See each commitment made during the deal, and the call it was made on.
- **Don’t ask twice.** Pick up an account without asking the customer to explain their setup again.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is Migaru?

Migaru is an AI-native CRM that keeps itself. It reads your team’s email and calendar, records their calls once they turn its notetaker on, files each conversation on its account and contacts, and on the deal when the account has one open, and keeps summaries and last-contact dates current. It also preps external meetings, turns promises into tasks, and drafts follow-ups and outreach for you to approve.

### What is an AI-native CRM?

A CRM whose record is written by software from the conversations a team already has, rather than typed in by people. In Migaru, facts like who was on a call and when someone last replied are kept for you, and judgements like a deal’s stage or close date are suggested for a person to approve.

### How is Migaru different from a traditional CRM?

A traditional CRM is only as current as what someone remembered to type. Migaru starts from your mailbox, calendar and calls, and who you talk to in Slack, creates contacts and accounts for the people you talk to, opens a deal when a company is plainly buying, and keeps the record current as the conversations happen. Anything that is a judgement waits for your approval, and nothing goes to a customer without you.

### Does Migaru send emails on its own?

Only campaigns you launch. Follow-ups and sequence steps are drafted into a review queue, and approving an email puts it in your own mailbox as a draft for you to edit and send, while a LinkedIn or call step becomes a task for you. On Growth, an Outreach campaign you write and launch sends from mailboxes connected for it, inside the hours and daily limits you set, and stops for anyone who answers. In Slack it answers only in direct messages, and it never sends anything on LinkedIn.

### What does Migaru connect to?

Gmail or Outlook with its calendar, Slack, and Zoom for the notetaker. The notetaker records Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls, and transcripts from any other recorder come in as files: subtitles, text, Word or PDF. In Slack you can also ask Migaru in a direct message. Your records can be read and written through the API and Migaru’s MCP server, which Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants connect to by signing in, with no key to copy. Any view can be exported as CSV, Excel or JSON.

### Does Migaru record calls?

Yes, on every plan, once you turn it on. Migaru’s notetaker joins your Google Meet, Zoom and Teams calls, records video and audio, and files the transcript on the meeting, where it is summarised, made searchable and read for what each side promised. It is off for each person until they turn it on, any meeting can be sent one or kept clear of it, and on Zoom you connect your Zoom account first. Transcripts from any other recorder can still be dropped in.

### How much does Migaru cost?

Migaru has four plans. Starter is $62 per user per month, billed monthly, for 1 to 3 users. Pro is $699 per month for the workspace, billed annually, with 5 users included and more at $140 per user per month. Growth is $1,399 per month for the workspace, billed annually, with 10 users included and more at $140 per user per month. Enterprise is priced for your team and billed annually. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial.

### Is there a free trial?

Yes. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. A trial has everything its plan has. The card you add at sign-up is charged only when the trial ends, so cancelling before then costs nothing.

### Is Migaru secure?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, mailbox and connector credentials are encrypted again inside the database, and API keys are stored only as hashes. Customer data isn’t used to train models. Our SOC 2 Type II audit and HIPAA work are in progress.

### Can I switch from HubSpot or Salesforce?

Yes. Export each object from your current CRM as a CSV and import it, up to 50,000 rows a file, mapping its columns onto your fields. Then connect your mailbox and calendar, and Migaru fills in the conversations around what you imported.
