# Migaru vs HubSpot

Every team's platform, or the sellers' CRM.

> HubSpot is a platform for marketing, sales and service, with free CRM tools, a meeting recorder and sequences that send for you from its Professional tier. Migaru is only a CRM for selling: it keeps the record from your email, calendar and call transcripts, drafts every email for you to send, and on Pro and Growth charges one price for the whole team rather than per seat.

## At a glance

| | Migaru | HubSpot |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Price** | Starter is $35 per user per month, for 1 to 3 users. Pro is $399 per month for the workspace, for up to 5 users. Growth is $799 per month for the workspace, for up to 10 users. Enterprise is priced for your team. | Free tools to start. Sales Hub is $20 per seat per month on Starter and $100 on Professional, billed monthly ($15 and $90 billed annually), and $150 on Enterprise, billed annually. Professional adds a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee, and Enterprise $3,500. |
| **How you pay** | A fixed price, per user on Starter and one price for the whole workspace on Pro and Growth. There are no credits, so what you pay doesn't change with how much the AI does. | Per seat, for each hub and tier. |
| **Free plan** | No free plan. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. | Yes: free CRM tools, with paid seats for more. |
| **Email and calendar** | Gmail or Outlook with its calendar, from up to two years back. Each outside thread and meeting is filed on its contacts and account, and people and companies it hasn't seen are added for you. | Its self-updating Smart CRM, from the Fall 2026 release, captures calls, emails and meetings and syncs them automatically. |
| **Stage, value and close date** | Suggested for you to accept or dismiss, by default. Every field can be set to fill itself, suggest, or be left alone, and summaries and last-contact dates keep themselves current. | Deal Progression, in public beta, proposes CRM updates and follow-ups for one-click approval. |
| **Call recording** | None, and no bot joins your calls. Upload the transcripts your recorder exports, as subtitles, text, Word or PDF, and each is filed on its meeting. | Meeting Notetaker joins Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls to record and transcribe them, on Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise. |
| **Sending email** | Never. Follow-ups and sequence steps wait in a review queue, and approving one puts a draft in your own mailbox for you to send. Migaru's own code can't send email. | Sequences send from your connected inbox, up to 500 emails a day for each Professional seat. |
| **Sequences** | Email only, on Pro and above. Each step is written from the contact's record when it comes due, and a reply ends the sequence. No open or bounce tracking. | On Sales Hub Professional and Enterprise. |
| **Calling and SMS** | Neither: there is no dialer and no SMS. | Built-in calling. |
| **Setup** | A few minutes. Accounts, contacts, deals, meetings, tasks and notes come ready, and Starter and Pro start from a card, with no onboarding fee. | Onboarding is required, and charged for, on Professional and Enterprise. |
| **Beyond sales** | Nothing: Migaru is a CRM for the people who sell, with no marketing email, forms, website or help desk. | Marketing, sales, service, content and commerce on one platform. |

## Where Migaru and HubSpot differ

### One platform, or one job

HubSpot runs marketing, sales and service on one platform, with forms, landing pages, marketing email, a help desk and a website builder beside the CRM. Migaru does one job, the record for the people who sell, and has none of those. If you want everything in one place, HubSpot is the more complete choice.

### What a small team pays

HubSpot charges per seat, and its sequences and meeting recorder start on Sales Hub Professional, at $90 to $100 a seat a month plus a $1,500 onboarding fee. Migaru's Pro plan is $399 per month for the workspace, for up to 5 users, with workflows, sequences and dashboards, and no onboarding fee.

### Sending

HubSpot's sequences send email from your connected inbox on a schedule. Migaru never sends: sequence steps and follow-ups are drafted into a review queue, and approving one puts a draft in your own mailbox.

### Free to start

HubSpot has free CRM tools you can use for as long as you like. Migaru has no free plan. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial.

## Choose HubSpot if

- You want marketing, sales and service on one platform.
- You want a free CRM to start with, adding paid seats later.
- You need built-in calling, or a recorder on your calls.

## Choose Migaru if

- You want the record kept for you without choosing hubs, tiers and add-ons.
- You'd rather pay one price for the whole team than pay per seat.
- You want every email to a customer to go through a person first.

## Switching from HubSpot

Export contacts, companies and deals from HubSpot as CSV files and import each into its object in Migaru, mapping columns onto your fields; a multi-select column reads the way HubSpot writes it. Then connect your mailbox and calendar and the conversations fill in around them. Workflows and sequences don't import: describe each rule in a sentence to rebuild it, on Pro and above. ## Frequently asked questions

### Is Migaru an alternative to HubSpot?

For selling, yes. Migaru replaces HubSpot's CRM and Sales Hub for teams that want the record kept from their email, calendar and call transcripts. It doesn't replace Marketing Hub, Service Hub or HubSpot's website tools, so if you use those, keep them or find another tool for them.

### Doesn't HubSpot update itself now too?

HubSpot's Fall 2026 release introduced a self-updating Smart CRM that captures calls, emails and meetings, and Deal Progression, in public beta, which proposes updates for one-click approval. Migaru was built around the same idea from the start: it files each conversation on its records, keeps summaries and dates current, and asks before changing a stage, deal value or close date.

### Does Migaru have a free plan like HubSpot?

No. Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. The card you add at sign-up is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.

### Does Migaru have a meeting recorder like HubSpot's?

No. Migaru doesn't join calls. Upload the transcripts your recorder exports and Migaru files each on its meeting, turns what each side promised into tasks, and lets you search every call.

### Can I bring my HubSpot data across?

Yes. Export contacts, companies and deals as CSV files and import each into Migaru, up to 50,000 rows a file. Contacts and companies already in Migaru are matched by email address and website rather than duplicated. Email history isn't imported: Migaru reads up to two years of it from each person's mailbox instead.
